With more than 25 years of experience in luxury beauty, fragrance and retail, Chi Shevket brings together commercial leadership, creative artistry and a deep understanding of the luxury client experience.

Born in London with a background in art, Chi began her career in professional makeup artistry, working with celebrities and high-profile clients. These formative years established a principle that continues to guide her work: luxury is personal.

After relocating to the UAE more than 15 years ago, she built her career within the Middle East’s luxury sector. Her experience includes working with and supporting international houses such as Dior, Dries Van Noten, Carolina Herrera, Christian Louboutin, Rabanne and Jean Paul Gaultier.

People development sits at the heart of her approach. Through educational programmes, masterclasses and coaching, Chi helps employees, managers and senior leaders strengthen communication, storytelling, client engagement and commercial performance.

Her London creative background and extensive regional experience give her an informed perspective on multicultural teams and luxury consumers—balancing individual expectations with a consistent brand experience.

As Co Founder of POISE, Chi connects people development with business performance, helping teams turn written brand standards into behaviours clients can see, feel and remember.

İrfan Sümbül

Creative Director, Educator & Entrepreneur

With over 35 years of experience across hair, beauty, grooming and luxury service, İrfan Sümbül brings together creative expertise, professional education and business leadership.

Since 2002, he has served as Co-Director of Choppy Cut Academy and Director of Choppy Cut Hair Salon London. His experience leading unisex salons spans women’s hairdressing and male grooming, with particular expertise in hair colour, creative cutting and complete image development.

A certified Schwarzkopf Master Colourist and former Schwarzkopf Digital Ambassador, İrfan also trained in Bridal & Couture at the London College of Fashion. As a professional makeup artist, he approaches hair, beauty and personal presentation as connected elements of an individual’s image.

Education is central to his work. Through training and mentorship, he helps professionals develop their technical skills, strengthen client relationships and deliver consistent service. His background in drama and performance adds a distinctive understanding of communication, confidence and personal presence.

As Co Founder of POISE, İrfan brings this perspective to helping teams translate brand standards into the way they present themselves, communicate and care for clients.

He is also the founder of ISLondon Dubai, an upcoming luxury hair and beauty concept bringing London expertise and elevated service standards to Dubai.
